

Resources For a Healthy College Life
On February 25 we hosted our 3rd Annual Wily Speaker Series on College Students and their Mental Well-Being. While the 2021 Speaker Series panel discussion with Sherri Ettinger and Micah Griffin provided helpful information and tools, we recognize that the topic of mental well-being is extremely broad and all of your questions may not have been addressed at the event. Below is a short list of college mental health resources that we explored while planning our 2021 Speaker Series, and shared with the Wily community after the event. Through education, research, advocacy, and a focus on young adults ages 14–25, Active Minds is opening up the conversation about mental health and creating lasting change in the way mental health is talked about, cared for, and valued in the United States.

NITEO is an intensive, one-semester program supporting young adults who live with a mental health condition to develop wellness tools, academic skills, resilience, and work-readiness.

The Clay Center for Young Healthy Minds at Massachusetts General Hospital is a free, practical, online educational resource dedicated to promoting and supporting the mental, emotional, and behavioral well-being of children, teens, and young adults.

At Christie Campus Health, they are dedicated to improving the behavioral health and wellbeing of college students by helping colleges and universities expand the way they reach and support students in need.

Fountain House is dedicated to the recovery of men and women with mental illness by providing opportunities for our members to live, work, and learn, while contributing their talents through a community of mutual support.

The Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health brings together dedicated experts from many disciplines to educate new generations of global health leaders and produce powerful ideas that improve the lives and health of people everywhere.

The Healthy Minds Network is dedicated to improving the mental and emotional well-being of young people through innovative, multidisciplinary scholarship.

The Hope Center for College, Community, and Justice is redefining what it means to be a student-ready college with a national movement centering #RealCollege students’ basic needs. We believe that students are humans first.

JED is a nonprofit that protects emotional health and prevents suicide for our nation’s teens and young adults.

McLean and the College Mental Health Program helps college students with mental illnesses and adjustment issues live more productive lives by providing the highest level of mental health care.
