We Are Wily
Wily Scholars bring unique experiences, challenges, strengths, and goals to the college journey. Some have experienced homelessness or foster care, some have been denied family support due to their sexual orientation or gender identity, some have lost their parents, and some have family members dealing with addiction, major mental illness, or incarceration. All are talented and motivated, and all are navigating life on their own.
At Wily, we are Scholar-centered, first and foremost, serving often overlooked college students who are navigating life without a safety net. Our efficacy rests in the power of deep, trusting relationships that cascade into ever-expanding circles of support as each student builds their Pack to meet the moment and ultimately, build a better future.
An Unparalleled Program
Our coaching program meets students where they are. We fill essential gaps for Scholars who face unique and systemic barriers, partnering with them to manage epic and everyday challenges. We accomplish this through three core components:
Clinical Coaching: Scholars build individualized, long-term, supportive relationships with their coach
Financial Resources: Scholars are supported through the college financial aid process, receive a monthly stipend, and more
Community Building & Networking: Scholars develop a supportive community and build social capital

Students navigating college independently often face a variety of systemic barriers, making it difficult to access everything college has to offer. Wily provides students with tangible and intangible benefits to fill these gaps and provide a supportive partnership during their college experience.
