Each August, Wily staff get together for All Pack Prep Week. Throughout the week the team participated in trainings and activities (including some friendly competitions), all in preparation to welcome new and returning Wily Scholars.
To kick off the week, members of Wily’s Board of Directors came to the Wily office! Katie Bramley, Stephen Barber, Sara Miller Blanc, Cindy Lawry, and Michelle Norman joined us for lunch to discuss the role of the board, and how we can all work together to further Wily’s mission.
Changing from our office scenery, the team took advantage of our office neighborhood and went for a hike and kayaking trip. Later on, we assembled welcome packets and paperwork for Wily Scholars to kick off the school year with the resources they need. To end the week strong, dedicated volunteers dropped off care packages specially made for Wily Scholars!
We are so excited to work with over 80 Wily Scholars as we head into fall, with the aim to get to 100 by the close of 2024. The Wily Pack has been working hard all summer to make this another successful year in supporting Scholars in their college careers. We look forward to sharing more accomplishments as we head into fall!
